Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii are the only states in the U.S that do not observe DST. The U.S. territories of Puerto Rico , Virgin Islands, Guam and American Samoa  also do not observe DST.

All cities in Arizona and Hawaii  do not observe Daily Saving Time. And no, there is not an "s" at the end of Saving. In addition, the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa do not observe the time change.

And if you've spent any time in the sweltering summer sun in those regions you can understand why residents don't need another hour of sunlight. China spans five time zones and does not observe DST.
