Like any industry it has good and bads I don't know what area you are from but I'm from Gloucester,Mass which is the oldest and was (was being key word) the largest fishing city in the United States. I'm old enough to have participated in and seen this industry at it best and have also seen the decline of this industry in this region due to regulations. There is a lot of argument from both sides on the sustainability of the commercial fishing industry.I would suggest you go to the NOAA website they are the agency that tracks all this information.
