Class C Misdemeanor - Usually a few hundred dollars or 30 days in jail.
Petition your parents for WHAT?
IANAL The parent will be charged with contributing to the Delinquency of a Child, Ohio Revised Code section 2919.24(A)(2), a first degree misdemeanor, and Failure to send child to school Ohio Revised Code 3321 (which is also a misdemeanor).
It is usually a violation of school regulations and policy, which do not necessarily have the force of law. However, if you become declared a chronic truant, or your parents/guardians allow it to occur, it CAN become a violation of (probably) state law, and you could be charged, as could your parents, for allowing it to continue. It would be a misdemeanor.
Yes. The child is underage so what the child does is the responsibility of the parent.
yes
Parents are normally charged with this grim duty.
Parents get charged for neglect
In certain schools, Yes. At mine, my teachers have a website for grades and attendance that students and parents can access
If the child is being charged as a minor, it doesn't require parental consent.
I was reliably informed that with a parents consent and attendance the legal age is 15 years old.

By what I have read in Arizona law, you have to be 14 to get a lip or eyebrow pierced with your parents consent. (I have a 13-year-old daughter bugging me to get her belly button done). By what I can gather, they have to show up with your birth certificate in hand to prove your age. Otherwise it is a Class 1 misdemeanor or a Class 6 Felony (I guess at the cop's discretion) as to what your parents will be charged with if you are younger than that?
