if you already have a clutch on the 140cc GX just use the chain direct to axel..
To keep the cost down they use a centrifugal clutch off the engine.
The clutch on my Honda CG125 lasted 13500 km of heavy every day use. If you do not gear down a lot your clutch will last double that.
I would recommend you use nothing but genuine Honda Clutch Fluid. I know it will cost more, but!
spin the rear wheels and use a heat gun on the chain
Use Honda 10w40. Remember, the gears and clutch use from the same oil.
Make sure the clutch is completely disengaged when pushed, it may need to be adjusted, it sounds like the clutch is dragging. get a better go kart or add a raidiatoraor even use some overheating additive...............or maybe the go kart has too much weight in it.... those clutches are supposed to slip are they?
www.hasport.com has clutch master cylinder adapters. Here is the info from their page: "The new master cylinder adapter allows the use of a Honda-style or Wilwood clutch master cylinder to convert a cable transmission vehicle to a hydraulic setup."
Brake Fluid Dot 3 Note: Brake and Clutch fluid are the same
Just buy it from your local Honda dealer. Just buy it from your local Honda dealer.
You can use any 10-40 W oil that is intended for motorcycles, made for wet clutch use.
Yes it is. I would use a 13 hp. Honda GX390 which is 390cc.
I use 10 W 40 motor oil which I found in Canadian Tire - it is made specially for liquid clutch use, you can also buy it from a Honda dealer.
