The KA24e in the stanza does not use an air pump (SMOG pump in CA). Rather, it uses vacuum valves and a hose that runs from under the air box to the exhaust collector.
On the 1989-1990 240sx with the KA24E single overhead cam engine the E.C.C.S. is located on the top left side of the engine behind the throttle body and on top of the intake manifold.
Nissan 240sx HorsepowerIt depends on what year and what engine the Nissan has, usually 1989-1990 have the ka24e which is 140 hp. While the 91-98 have the ka24de engine which has 155 hp.
I own a 97 pickup with a ka24e and the vacuum diagram is right on the hood. But a local Nissan dealership should be able to print a copy of one from their service manual for you.
If it's a KA24E engine it's 1,3,4,2.
you have to take the throttle body support bracket loose. it is under the bottom mounted to the engine. you cannot remove it otherwise. I know as i did the same.
somewhere along the valve cover should be an outlet which feeds back into your intake system. Typically the pcv is located at the valve cover towards the rear (firewall or 4th piston) and is plugged right into the valve cover itself. It usually costs less than $10 and takes less than 5 minutes to replace.
130 with ka24e
Look at pictures, or know that 89-90 have a sohc ka24e and 91-98 have a dohc ka24de
ABSOLUTLEY!!!! it is the same engine , havent you actually looked and compared? in fact this same engine (KA24E) is in early 240s. good luck with your swap!
