You do not require a college degree to join the SEALs, even though about 1/3 of all SEALs have a college degree. I would suggest getting your basic bachelors degree. Anything more (unless you plan to have a job that requires a high education level when you get out of the Navy) is just a waste of time. If you want, you can go through NROTC (Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps), and enter the Navy as an Ensign (Naval equivalent to a Second Lieutenant).
Remember, the SEALs have a 75-80% DOR (drop on request) rate, and you have to be VERY physically fit in order to make it through or excel at BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolitions/SEAL training). The SEALs also have to train a ridiculously long time before they're ever even deployed (I think a couple years).
One other thing you may want to look into is the SEAL Challenge. Not too many people seem to know what this is, and I'm not even sure I do. Talk to your recruiter about it. I think it's a quick way to get into BUD/S immediately after basic Naval boot camp, instead of completing your 4 required years in the Navy.
