New Zealand Agricultural College Act of 1926 created a sixth college of the University of New Zealand based on the agricultural departments of Victoria University College in Wellington and Auckland University College. In 1927 it was renamed Massey Agricultural College after New Zealand Prime Minister William Massey. It opened in 1928. The only thing i can think of is Michigan State College It was Agricultural College of the state of Michigan 1855 to 1861 when it was changed to State Agricultural College. In 1909 it became Michigan Agricultural College, and in 1925 it was changed to Michigan State College. In 1955, it became MSU. Go Green.
