Check out the Yellow Ribbon Program. A couple of years ago there were quite a few good colleges doing free tuition for veterans (not active duty). In addition, you can save time completing your degree through other avenues. Some colleges have credit by exam opportunities, and some of the Yellow Ribbon ones might.
This year, (2011) on May 29-30, you get free admission if you're an active or retired military personnel for Military Appreciation Days! Have fun! :D

There are plenty of online military colleges. These online military colleges include Strayer University, Capella University, Drexel University, Colorado Technical University, and many more.
All military personnel under orders fly for free on military flights as Space Available (commonly referred to as Space-A). Active duty and retired military personnel may flight Space-A on any military flight for a small fee; this used to be $15 in the 1990's but may have changed.

Contact BASOPS. If you are active duty or retired military and there is "space available" on an aircraft then you can often be transported for free.
You must have completed your service term in order to be eligible to recive retired military housing. It can be a great option.
Many places offer discounts for retired military such as Lowes and Disney World, however AAA discounts are for members of AAA reguardless of military status.
