The canopy
The slow lorises live throughout tropical rainforests in Southeast Asia. The slender lorises are found in the tropical forests of India and Sri Lanka. Pottos occur only in the tropical and subtropical forests of West and Central Africa.
Lemurs, tarsiers, and lorises belong to a group of primates called prosimians. The sub-order Strepsirrhini (curly-nosed primates) are non-tarsier prosimians, and the sub-order Haplorrhini (dry-nosed primates) includes tarsiers and simians.
