Not sure of the color, but I learned a trick all you need is a battery from a cordless drill. If you have the radio disconnected You can use the battery on the speaker wires just touch the wires to the battery and youll hear a sound .

I'd suggest if you have a manual such as a chiltons manual for your car, in the back before the index, they will usually have wiring schematics in the back identifying the wiring colors, and the circuit of which you are working on. I had to do this with my '90 4-runner.
