Technically clear but it appears white to us.

Found in nature, salt is most commonly found as either white or pink.
white because it is bleached unless you are talking about seasalt, is clear.

By default, all salt is kosher unless something is added to it to render it not kosher. Additives are normally in the form of flavourings.
