The bright red halo around the visible surface of the sun is the corona, the sun's upper atmosphere. by Ashley age 9 IT CAN ALSO BE CALLED THE CHROMOSPHERE:) SABRINA AGE 14
The Photo-sphere has an Yellow color. Not Red. Red Stars are cooler then our yellow Star.
Nothing, hence total solar eclipse.______________________________Actually, the mass of the Sun itself is hidden behind the Moon, but the tenuous and wispy atmosphere of the Sun, called the "corona", extends a few million miles out into space. The corona is fairly dim; compared to the brilliance of the Sun itself, the corona is invisible. But when the Sun is hidden behind the Moon, the corona is still mostly visible.AND if you are in middle school the simple answer would be the corona and the photo
The corona.
the atmosphere of the sun is called the corona the corona is many times hotter the surface of the sun. Astronomers can see the corona with special laboratory equipment, but otherwise it is only visible during a total eclipse.
pale green or white
The question is imfathonable because the sun cannot leave the corona the corona is the center of the sun so the sun therefore cannot leave the sun.

The layers of the sun's atmosphere are the photosphere, (Greek for Light) the chromosphere, (Greek for color), and the Corona (Greek for Crown). The photosphere is the inner layer of the sun's atmosphere. It creates light. The chromosphere is the middle layer. It has a reddish glow. The corona is the outer layer. It is only visible during an eclipse. The Sun has three layer the Photosphere, chromosphere, and the corona Photosphere is the inner layer of the sun atmosphere The chromosphere is the middle layer of the sun and the Corona is the outer layer of the sun
the outermost layer of the sun is called the corona luminous envelope.
Chromosphere and coronaThe three layers of the suns atmosphere are the photosphere, chromosphere, and the corona.

Because the corona is not as bright as the other parts of the sun
The corona.
the corona is much hotter than the layers of the sun that are closer to the sun's interior
the corona is the part that you see when you see the sun .. the part with light around it :D
