how do you take the wires from the alternator on a 1997 Toyota Tercel
dont have the answer...but go to motor world..they have the answer and and seem to have diagrams to everything.
bad plugs, wires, distributer if it has one, bad igniter, faulty wiring.....
check your plugs and wires
Try to use Toyota speaker adapter plugs so you don't need to cut wires and mess the electric system up. You can get them from Ebay or Amazon.
You can find a color code for radio wires on a 96 Toyota Corolla in the owner's manual. You can contact the manufacturer to order a replacement manual if needed.
Usually the aftermarket radio you put in needs a wiring harness you can buy at most audio stores and big electronic stores like Best Buy. The back of the package will tell you which wires connect by color. Remember, solder is the best tool for connecting wires but usually permanent.
power is red ground is black
Usually is 24volts AC so color code does not really apply.
fuel pump relay, fuse or wires
Answer There should be at least 4 to wires. Four of those wires are for your speakers, the other two, one red is for power and the black on for a ground
did you replaced spark plug also distributor cap and rotor???
Look at the Drivers side, they should be the same.
The speaker wire color codes on a 1993 Toyota Camry are yellow, green, red, and black. The wires have a harness on the end designed to allow for easy connection to speakers.
Normally red. Check the wires with a volt meter to be sure.
Bad idea, replace both spark plugs and wires, using Toyota parts, will increase fuel milage and reliabilty..
They are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
On most they have a built in amp so you need a wiring harness
All engines that use a coil pack are pretty much the same. One end of the sparkplug wire connects to sparkplug, the other to the coil pack. Just follow the wires.
power = light green ground = black
last week i installed a new radio in my sister tercel , the car didnt had a radio at all , the rear speaker wire was missing in her car, i guess Toyota didnt intall the wire if u havnt buy the radio option.solution: buy 4 wire, long enough to get from the radio to the trunk, next step, make your way to the trunk by removing the plastic trim along the door frame and then take the wires under the back seat and tadam the wires are in the trunkThere should still be rear speaker connections, I think you just failed to find them. My Tercel also lacked rear speakers but had the wires tied into the rest of the wiring harness with speaker attachment clips on them. You need to look where the jack is stored and somewhere (that escapes me right now) on the other side as well.
Any color you name it. Various colors are used to represent circuits. Red is most represented as a power source.
hi the ground wires are white the live depends on if its been wired by another but usually black or brown
I strongly suggest that you take that generic O2 sensor back and get an OEM replacement, it will have the proper connector and will last longer.
