Actually, since Mercury has no atmosphere to scatter the Sun's rays, you would be able to see the inky black of the universe with all its tiny dots of light even in the middle of the day! The Sun would be a much larger 'dot' of light- just make sure your back is facing towards it so you don't burn your retinas out.
The Sun would be a lot bigger. Also, Mercury doesn't have much of an atmosphere, so even during the day the sky would be black (you might or might not be able to see the stars during the day, depending on how much glare you got from the surface). The Earth (and the Moon) would be visible to the naked eye at night (and possibly during the day). Other than that, not much difference from Earth.
