im looking for a wire diagram for f150 starter i am connecting
The ignition wire on a 1997 Ford E-150 is red. It is the same color in many of Ford's automobiles.

You should be able to use the power side of Injector #1 for the tach signal
Other than the obvious answer, Read the manual... you could simply follow the Battery's positive "+" wire to it. The batter connects to the starter on the positive side and to frame ground on the negative.
Battery connect to large terminal Starter connect to other large terminal Trigger wire (smaller) connects to small terminal If you have an extra small terminal disregard
if your standing above the solenoid the wire to the stater goes on the left all other wires go on the right

In the wiring harness behind the parking brake. You will have to remove the plastic shield and dig around in the wires for it. Pink with White or white with pink. Can't remember. Consult your remote starter manual.
