If it still has the original DexCool coolant, it would be a pinkish/red.
Years 1997-2000 is green coolant. I don't know the newer vehicles.
Most 2000 GM cars were filled with the RED Dexcool coolant. Using the standard green fluid after the Dexcool has been used can lead to clogged coolant passages and destroy the engine.
The sensor may be defective/broken. I would have that checked or replaced.
underneath the coolant tank, it should be easy to see.
Standard anti-freeze.
It should be attached to the radiator.
You can use any SAE certified coolant in your 2000 Kia. The coolant should have a minimum temperature rating of -25 degrees Fahrenheit and 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
It uses Dexcool.
It should be on the bottom of the radiator.
Should be just normal green coolant. Check the color before servicing to make sure that someone hasn't changed it over to dexcool (usually red in color) **don't open a hot system, wait for it to cool down or you could get burned**
Could be "Dex-Cool" engine coolant.
originially Dexcool which is orange color. if its been replaced with glycol, its green.
