Bay Dun Mare: AaEeDndn, AAEeDndn, AAEEDndn or AaEEDndn if it is heterozygous for the dun allele.

50% of the foals will be dun in this instance. If the mare is homozygous then

the foals will be 100% dun.

If by white you mean grey then 50% of all foals produced will turn grey independant of their initial birth color. Assuming that the stallion is heterozygous for grey (G).

If by white you mean dominant white (W) 50% of all foals produced will be white (there is an ongoing debate about the exsistence of the W gene from what I recall). Since the presence of this allele masks other coat color genetics the white parent may carry any assortment of alleles that affect the color of the

foal.

If by white you mean maximum expression of Sabino (Sb) the foal could have many variations of white patterning from hardly any to almost completely white in conjunction with the various base and dun dilute combinations mentioned.

What color foal do you get when you breed a chestnut mare to a red roan?

What colour foal will you get if you breed white mare with a sorrel stallion?

brown So, white could mean maximum expression sabino or gray. If the mare has pink skin she is probably maximum expression sabino and her base coat color can be extrapolated (to a degree) from the base color of her parents and grandparents. If the mare is a maximum expression sabino amount of white will be determined by the genetics of the stallion in conjunction with the genetics of the mare. If the mare has dark skin she is gray. Gray is independent of base color...so the resulting foal could be any base color with a 50 or 100% chance of being gray. If the mare is gray Gg there is a 50% chance that the foal will be grey, If the mare is GG any foal produced will be grey. Again base coat color can be extrapolated from the parents/grandparents to a degree. A gray horse will always have a gray parent. The stallion is XXee as he is sorrel/chestnut again, looking at his parents/grandparents may lend information on his genetics at the agouti site and the subsequent possible color of the foal.

What color stud would you have to breed your tovero mare to to get an overo foal?

The color of the stallion is irrelevant, however he should not be overo in order to avoid the potential for an OLW or LWO foal. The foal could be Overo , Tobiano, Tovero or solid colored.

On Howrse how to you get a cherry bay foal?

What color mule will you most likely get if you breed a liver and white jack to a black with white blanket appaloosa?

Donkey colors do not equate directly with those of a horse and I am not seeing the term Liver show up on sites dedicated to donkey genetics. You mention liver and white but donkeys colors are based on body color, point color and trim color so the white may or may not refer to point color. The black coat color of the appaloosa mare could be aaEe or aaEE. If the mare is aaEE she can only produce a non-red foal. How that will interact with the Jack's color is unknown however, the control of red and non-red in donkeys and horses is the same so if the mare is EE the foal's base coat color will be dark if she is Ee and Liver is a red based color there is a 50% chance that the foal will be red.If the appaloosa mare is homozygous for the leopard complex gene (Lp) any foal produced will haveappaloosa spotting.

How long before a mare can breed after her last foal?

The first heat that occurs a few days after birth is called a Foal Heat. Breeding a mare on a foal heat is possible, but sometimes not the best thing for the mare. As a result many breeders do not breed on foal heat. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

When a mare is waxing about ready to foal what color is the wax?

The wax looks like the wax from a white candle, or like dry white glue. It is a milky-clear color.

Black mare and chestnut mare bred to buckskin what color will foals be?

It depends. The breed of the horses involved, which coats are dominant in the breed, and wether or not the horses are purebred. For example, if you breed a purebred black horse to a pure brown Thoroughbred mare, then the foal will be black because black is dominant in the breed. However, this rule of coat domination is only true if the horses are purebreds.
