white and black
Zebras are black or dark skinned animals with large white stripes and blotches to give camouflage from its predators. Some Zebras have shadow stripes between the white and black colouring. It is believed that zebras are black animals with white detail for three main reasons. The first is that white equids would not be able to survive well in the plains or forests of Africa. Secondly, the extinct species of plain zebra, known as the Quagga, had the white stripes of zebras today on the front of their bodies, but a dark coloured rump. The third reason is based on the Shadow stripes. When the pigmented white band becomes to wide, a secondary stripe starts to emerge. The idea that some zebras have white under bellies and legs is not thought to be evidence of an overall light colour, since many animals of different colours have white or lighter coloured bellies and legs.
, excellent question because most people are confused what colors zebras are.
Of course there black and white but what most people want to know is, are zebras black with white stripes or are they white with black stripes? Well it is unknown but 75% of today's humans argue that these creatures are Black with White stripes. This is also what i believe. Although 25% believe that a Zebra is white with black strips.
Black and white
No. All zebras are Black with white stripes.
A zebra is white with black or brown stripes.
The zebras that are white with black stripes can see perfectly well. However, the zebras that are black with white stripes are blind.
One of the colors zebras cannot see is orange
The Zebras colors are helpful since they all have stripes the lion thinks like 5 zebras are one whole zebra and it takes along while for the lion to understand that's one zebra and by then all the zebras ran away
Both animals belong to the same family. A Zebra has a stripped coat. Horses are not stripped but have plain colors.
of course for eg: the dogs who are blazk and white stripped are called zebras and the brown spotted cats are named as cheetas.
Yes. The animals that have two or more colors padronized like tigers, zebras and giraffes, have its two padronized color to camouflage objectives.
i searched a picture and it was brown. it could be other colors too tho. ...not sure....
Of course they do! How would the zebra species still be 'alive' if the adult zebras didn't have baby zebras. Of course they have babies.
Zebras reproduce sexually, so zebras do have fathers.
