Each horse will have an individual personality, however as a general rule Nokota horses tend to be fairly quiet and gentle.

According to the Nokota Registry, the average Nokota horse is slightly larger than the American Mustang, weighing in at about 600 to 800 lbs. and standing between 14hh and 15hh on average.

To recieve your first Nokota without buying one, you must complete one of your 'Western Objectives'. That objective is to enter a Western Grand Prix with one of your horses. Or, you can buy one in Sales, and then breed them like any other Howrse. They do not have to be specifically bred at a certain time like a Unicorn.

Horses are different colors because different kinds of horses are naturally different in color. Some horses were also bred to be certain colors.
Tennessee Walking Horses can be nearly every color horses naturally are.

They are only black. If they have any other colors on them they cannot be registered.

Nokota horses are spanish in origin, similar to the American Mustang Horse. It was introduced to North America by the conquistadores. But the Sioux and Lakota Native Amercans claimed to have the horse before the arrive of the Europeans. They are now found in the Northen Plains area, including the grasslands of North Dakota.
