red and yellow? because pumkin is practically orange
Since pumpkin is like orange, and orange and blue are complementary colors, the likely result is brown.
Yes.
Pumpkin puree is just that - pumpkin that has been pureed. Pumpkin pie mix is the pumpkin puree with added ingredients, such as sugar and spices.
You can't "mix colors to get antifreeze."
Canned pumpkin pie mix will typically go bad within a year of purchase. Sometimes the mix will last less than this.
sure you can! it will make pumpkin bred probably!
Any colors.
BrownBrown (but it depend on what colors you mix)
Different recipes. If you're talking about canned pumpkin for making pumpkin pie, you can use either pure pumpkin or a mix. Libby's, for example, has both. If you choose seasoned pumpkin mix, you don't add seasoning. Follow the recipe on the label. You do have to add some things. Probably what you mean by "regular pumpkin mix" is not a mix at all but 100% pure pumpkin. You do the mixing by adding the seasoning, the evaporated milk (not "sweetened condensed"!), and so on. If you're choosing canned pumpkin for pies, pay attention to which one you're buying because the quantities are different. For either choice, the label has the recipe and the list of ingredients. Use that as your shopping list, and follow the instructions carefully, and you'll be fine. No matter which way you do it, a little dash of fresh-grated nutmeg on top just before it goes into the oven is going to make a nice extra.
