very simply. Remove front passenger side wheel, there is a plastic mud gaurd like sheet that is between wheel and engine bay. remove this enough to allow you to work, three small bolt screws, 1 underneath and 2 on the side, also a plastic clip that kinda pulls off but to the right, once you can pull the plastic casing back enough to see in, the washer bottle is right behind. 2 wires go to each pump. there are two pumps 1 for front windscreen and 1 for rear. remove the wires by pulling them off the clip on connection then pull off the two hoses for the water, next the motors can be pulled from the bottle, they are only held in with a rubber seal. very simple just did mine for the first time in half hr.

If it's the same as in my Peugeot 306 (1997) you have to unplug the wires from the therminal-switch witch is located on the radiator. Then use a piece of wire to short circut the two connectors on the wires. Have the ignition on. When you short circut the wires the fan will start. It is located under the windscreen washer bottle which is located under the front offside wing (rhd)How to remove and replaceI searched the web to find this answer and couldn't so after an afternoon of doing it here goes!First, I jacked the front of the car up from the drivers side front mount. Then turned the wheels to the right (no need to remove wheel). I removed the inside inner arch enough to access the area. You then need to loosen the horn bracket...one bolt, you can then see the pump with the hoses attached...a gentle pull out will remove. Make sure your legs aren't there as it empties the water out when removing ( I got soaked!). Un clip the wires and replace...Not difficult, I managed to remove with a few spanners and a couple of Alan keys
