2.) "hibiscus rosa sinensis" - "Sembaruthi" in tamil which is RED in color is another flower which can be offered to hindu gods. BUT some people say that it cannot be used in "SRI MAHA VISHNU, SRI MAHALAKSHMi & SRI HANUMAN" pooja yet i don't know why.
