I believe it's when you colour the page in lot's of bright colours (like a rainbow, perhaps). And then you colour over that with a couple of THICK coats of black crayon. Then, when you scratch the black crayon away (like drawing, but with a knife, or something) the black goes away, et voila! - the lines you draw will be multicoloured!! ...at least, I THINK that's what you're asking.
