Mallard duck eggs are a very light shade of blue / green.
The male and female Mallards are completely different in colour. The female is almost entirely brown except for a possibility of a green/blue/purple patch near their wingtips. The males have a green (sometimes moer blue than green) head with sometimes a white ring around their neck. The rest of their body is mostly grey and slightly brown. When male Mallards molt (the time they shed their feathers) they can lose much of their colour.
