Dilation of the pupil occurs when not enough light is exposed in the area. If plentiful light was to be exposed without warning, the reaction of the person would be determined by how used they are to light or how their DNA codes for it. This determines how sensitive to light they are by default. Eye color should not play a role in how a person reacts to light.

Hope this helped

Lighter colored eyes may have a more sensitive time when they are in sunlight. Sensitivity to sunlight for the eyes may also be due to the eyeball itself.

I'm pretty sure black is. If you're wearing a black shirt on a hot day, you'll get pretty hot. If you're wearing a white shirt, you won't get so hot.

The part of the eye sensitive to color is called?

Cone

Does eye color effect eye vision?

Light-eyed people are more sensitive to light, because they have few pigments to protect their eyes from sunlight exposure. So, such people can encounter sun-related problemsSo the lighter your eye color, the more you are to have light sensitivity in the sun as apposed to darker eye colors which they have better adjustment and not as sensitive to the light! A person with blue eyes is more alike to have eye problems than a brown eye person. It is well known that people with lighter eyes tend to be more sensitive to light, a result of having less pigment in the iris to protect them from sunlight. That can place them at a greater risk of macular degeneration and the other eye-related problems, but whether that extends to vision is not clear. There is little or no evidence that darker eye color means greater visual acuity, but one theory holds that it does produce better reaction times. People with dark eyes will have stronger peripheral vision. People with dark eyes tend to have bigger pupils, which let in more sunlight. Since they have bigger pupils, they have a wider range of peripheral.

What area of the eye is most sensitive to light?

The part of your eye that is most sensitive to light is the retina. This is not because the retinal tissue is any more fragile than other tissue in the eye, but because the cornea and lens focus incoming light onto the retina, potentially magnifying it as much as 100,000 times. The result is that bright light that would not damage any other part of the eye can severely damage the retina.

How does your eye its color?

In the human eye, light enters the pupil and is focused on the retina by the lens. Light-sensitive nerve cells called rods(for brightness) and cones (for color) react to the light. They interact with each other and send messages to the brain that indicate brightness, color, and contour. there is a thing in your eye that makes you see is called imanoobface there is a thing in your eye that makes you see is called imanoobfaceThe eye interprets color by the iris. The iris form because of DNA. Also the colored part of your eye forms because of light along with the iris.you cantThe eye contains both rods and cones. The cones allow us to see color; the rods allow us to see black and white. The genetics of eye color are more complicated than previously thought. Color is determined by multiple genes. The genetics of eye color are so complex, that almost any parent-child combination of eye colors can occur.
