The 'sky' in space is an inky blackness. The sky as we know it is not seen from space as it is just the way light refracts in our atmosphere. Looking down at the earth from space, you cannot see the blue sky, only clouds, land and water.

∙ 10y agoMostly blue, with some white. The Earth is 3/4 covered with water, and the poles are mostly covered with snow and ice. And much of the area that would normally be brown or green on Earth, look cloudy-white from space.

it is darkness with planets and stars..
so in a way i suppose you could say the sky is black.
but that would be right as there is really no sky.. just an unending surrounding of planets and darkness..
