ginger, unless some old traits from grandparents come out...i bred a short haired cat with a tom cat and out came a long haired cat ( 3 inches!!!) if i was helpful to you could you please reccommend me and give me a trust point
Orange is a very intresting trait because it it sexed linked on the X chromosome, women are XX and men are XY. . Becasue we inheirt a sex chromosome from each parent, are mom gives us an X and our father gives us an X or a Y determnining our gender. Sex linked traits are those present on the X chromosome. The Orange gene (O) is carried on the X chromosome; for this reason it is sex-linked. Males normally only have one X chromosome and so if a male carries the orange gene at all, he will be orange. Females have two X chromosomes; if both X chromosomes carry the orange gene, then the cat will be orange. However, many females carry the orange gene on only one chromosome, which allows the black-based pigmentation to show through in patches. This combination of orange and black is called Tortoiseshell, and calico. SO if the female cat is orange, all her male kittens will probably be orange, and the female kittens can be orange or blended. IF the Father is Orange his sons will be black and his daughters will be orange or blended. Orange is on X and is dominant to black, if the kitten receives an X from an orange cat they will be orange or blended
Most likely black, unless one of the parents has the recessive gene for another color.
Calico cats can have the same amount of kittens as any other cat. Calico is a certain coat pattern, not a separate breed.
KITTENS means baby cats.So only CATS can have kittens.
yes they do see in colour but not in the same way as we do they see in darker colours
Yes Cats Can Give Birth To Many Numbers Of Kittens Like 18 Kittens.
This depends on the breed of dog but cat's vision is shifted towards the blue spectrum. Dogs and Cats see in color but not like humans. Dogs and cats only see shades of one color. It would be like watching a black and white movie only it might be a blue and white or a red and white movie.
Purple
Black is a coat colour, not a breed of cat.All domestic cats, no matter what the breed, fall under the genus of Felis Catus, which is the Scientific name for the domestic cat.
It is really hard to tell . It has to do with the anscestors of the cats whether they are purebreds, and their genes.
No, they are not always inbreed they are like every other living cat. --- Calico cats are simply the result of a ginger or tortoiseshell cat and a black or tortoiseshell cat. The only similarities is that both cats must have some white.
It all depends on your opinion. Usually all breeds are cute. They're cats, after all.
It greatly varies, from whether it is a domestic or wild cat, and the breed. I have heard/seen cats havving anywhere from 3-9 kittens.
Species breed within their own species. In fact, it would be impossible anatomically for cats and dogs to inter-breed. So cats birth only kittens; dogs birth only puppies.
You can have dogs, cats (you can breed cats and dogs and have puppys and kittens), hampsters, birds that's itt
Cats are like us; one breed breeds another breed, and their kittens breed another breed, and so on until there's a bajillion breeds; some we don't even know yet.
Yes, cats can mate with any other cat breed to produce crossbreed kittens.
Calico is a co-dominant trait, meaning that half of your black and half of your red genes are shown. ------------- If both of the kittens are female, then it's likely that you have tortishells there! Tortishell pattern is gender-based genetic. It also happens with hamsters (If you breed a male golden (Syrian) hamster with any differant breed/colour of female, the female babys will all be tortishell! (I know because I had a teddy-bear golden! Gorgeous XD)
There is no answer to it everyone says the breed is black cat so you cats breed is Black Cat
