My beautiful ruby cavalier, was one of six puppies from a ruby dog and a tri female. The other 5 pups were all tri, so I think it's the luck of the draw.

The problem with breeding two pedigrees together like that is there's no way to predict what traits the puppies will pick up from each parent. The puppies might have the poodle's curly coat, or it may shed like the cavalier parent, or perhaps a mixture in between.
A Dog that is a mix between a Dobermann and a Rottweiler. The puppies would be a crossbred and could not be Kennel Club registered, but would likely be black-and-tan in colour and of a medium to large size.

You can get some Tri colored puppies but I'm not guaranteeing they will all be Tri colored because the parents aren't the only thing that matter, it's their bloodlines, so some pups can be brown and white too.
