it can be yellow but it also h the possibity of ending up black or brown. but it will most probably end up yellow.
we got a yellow lab from a chocolate lab and a yellow lab so i am guessing there will be blacks and yellows
Most likely yellow, but there is always a chance that because of recessive genes they could produce a different colored lab, such as black or brown.
yes but i think its still called a yellow lab
The yellow is recessive.
It is possible, the lab may have a black color gene in it.
It can be yellow-green, brown, black, or a mix of those colors.
No, the puppies will all be brown, unless there is at least one black parent, the genes that go to the puppy will make it brown, almost without fail.Another answer:It's a common misconception that Labradors breed true to the color of the parents. In fact, any color combination of Labrador Retriever parents can produce any color offspring...so yes, two chocolate labs can produce a black (or yellow) puppy. A puppies urine should be yellow on a puppy pad.
Any litter of purebred Labrador retrievers can including puppies who are yellow, chocolate, or black at the same time. The color at birth is the color they grow into adulthood with. Also the colour of the pup has nothing to do with how the puppy will grow up.
