I would suggest painting your daughter's room in a neutral color like a cream, beige or a pastel color that she likes. That way you can always accent with whatever color is her current favorite but may change next week! A lime or purple painted room may be her passion today but she may tire of tomorrow. Buying new pillows, accent rugs, etc. is far less expensive than repainting an entire room. You can shop for those items together which will give her the opportunity to be part of the decision making process. Good luck!
The best choice for your room is your favourite colour. If you like a very dark colour, you may want to check with your parents before painting the entire room that colour. If they are not in favour of the whole room in an intense colour perhaps you could either paint just one wall (your feature wall) in the dark colour and the other three in a more pastel version of it, or paint the room in the pastel tone of your colour and get linens and window treatments in the dark colour.
i think any colour :)
I paint a small piece of cardboard with the room paint, then I go to the store (fabric, bed/bath) and match up the product with the paint swatch. No guessing involved.
almost any colour! All you need is to first paint it white and then add a few coats of your colour choice to paint it ;) hope this helps i know nothing about painting a room :)P
you should paint it red and blue
i would paint the room using feature walls using the colours malt chocolate and coral flair.
no
i think a wallpaper style very in ATM black and white floral print????
Gold is nice but mixed with black you would look goth so I would say a nice gold room but if you don't like the idea then choose any colour
you could do light purple on two opposite walls and light blue on the other walls then have blue and purple acsessories and things like that
Depends on what kind of black it is. Is it glossy or matte, is it very dark or light black... Also depends on how big the room is in comparison to the size of the furniture. Black is a classically neutral colour. It looks great with any colour you can think of. If you are looking for inspiration for the colour to paint your room, look to your wardrobe. The colours you like and wear are colours that make you feel good and express your personality. What better colours for your personal environment than the ones you already gravitate to.
There are several places where one can get paint samples in order to check a colour for their room. These places include local hardware and paint stores, as well as larger companies. Larger companies include Home Depot, Benjamin Moore, Rona, and General Paint.
