For a sophisticated look, use a monochromatic grey scheme. Add gold details.
For a casual look, greens and tan work well. Use white trim work to tie in the floor.
For an adult feminine look, dusty rose and lots of magnolia white. Add black details.
For a young feminine look, soft pink with lots of true white. Add white details.
For an adult masculine look try navy, with grey and chrome details.
For a young masculine look, use blue and tan with brass details.
I would suggest you work with one of the many neutrals available. White, black, grey (or a combination of the colours) are all viable options and leave you able to use any other colour if and when you repaint. If your room has wood in it, you could also use any of the beige, brown and "stone" colours. There are currently glass tiles available from many companies that feature "metallic" looks, check into these. You can find one with a pewter look that is in combination with translucent and opaque tiles in greys. The finished look will be very sharp with the red, and still leave you options for the future.
mosaic tiles
A mosaic is made from different coloured tiles that form one picture. A collage is made out of paper, magazines etc and can form many pictures instead of one.
1945 (nineteen forty-five) is an abstract nounas a word for a year. All words for time are abstract nouns; time is a concept.1945 (one thousand, nine hundred, forty-five) is a concrete noun as a word for a physical count of something (for example: There are 1,945 tiles in the mosaic.)1945 (one thousand, nine hundred, forty-five) is an abstract noun as a word for a count of something abstract (for example: There are 1,945 legends our ancestors have handed down to us. It takes a lifetime to learn them and to pass them down to our children.)
Tiles should be waterproof regardless of weather they are painted or not.
I would paint after. Because you might have to do caulking after tiling and when u finish caulking then paint.
Painting your bathroom depends on personal preference, and you can paint it whatever colour you like. I tend to stick with a light blue or cream above my tiles. You can also decorate your bathroom with quality accessories.
Paint,tiles and gloss
have you tried pure acetone?
No, they are glazed and will not allow paint to bond to the surface.
cream
There are a couple of things you need to ascertain first. If all of the baseboards in the entire rest of the dwelling are of a single colour (most commonly white or cream) then continue the trend. Both white and cream will work fine in the bathroom. If you want to undertake the task of changing the colour of your baseboards and trim work in the bathroom, remember you will need to paint the door casings, possibly the jamb and any existing window mouldings as well. Predetermine where you intend to make your colour change. If you want the color to show only in the bathroom when the door is closed - you do not paint the door jamb. If you want the colour to show when the door is open, then paint the jamb, but be careful not to get the bathroom colour on the outside door casings. As for your choices of colour for the trim… a brown of the same colour family as your tiles, in a dark shade will do nicely, or if you are more adventurous (and have a bit of faux finishing experience) you could paint the trim the same (or very close) colour as the tiles and "dry brush" a metallic copper over the top. It is a bit of extra work, but the result is always worth the effort.
