It's called "A Blue Object" because when light of many colors falls on it, it reflects the
blue light toward your eyes and absorbs all the other colors, including yellow.
So if yellow light is the only light falling on it, the light is all absorbed, none is reflected
to your eyes, and the object appears black.
blue
The red light would be absorbed by the green object and the object would appear dark. The green object reflects green light and absorbs other colors.
Black, because the blue light would be absorbed into the object's pigment and as there is no green light to reflect, the object would appear black.
A blue object appears blue because it absorbs most colors and reflects blue light. However, when a red light shines on a blue object, the blue object would absorb the red light and reflect blue, so it would still appear blue.
it would appear black.
red
The object would appear black because it would not reflect any of the blue light shining on it, and blue light alone cannot activate any yellow pigments to reflect back a different color.
Red. The colour of an object is determined by the wavelengths of light it reflects and absorbs, and a white object is one that reflects light across the visible spectrum. If only red light shines on it, it will reflect that light. In contrast, a black object appears black because it doesn't reflect any visible wavelengths, so would still appear black. Any object that doesn't reflect the wavelength of light you're using (eg blue objects) would also appear black because it isn't reflecting any light.
The object would be black, because red cannot reflect green light so no colour is reflected of the object.
black
it would be black as there would be no color to reflect off of it e.g a green door in any color lighted room would make it look black except if it was in a white or green lighted room then it would look green :D
When shining a green object onto a yellow light, the green object would absorb most of the yellow light while reflecting the green wavelengths. This would make the green object appear even brighter and more vibrant due to the contrast created by the yellow light.
