Yellow and Blue
Green is a secondary colour. To get a secondary colour you must mix two primary colours together in equal proportions. Green is the result of mixing the primary colours Yellow and Blue in equal proportions.
You mix blue and green to make teal. Adjusting the amount of each color will affect the shade of teal you achieve.

you can never mix colours to get a primary colour. green and yellow mixed together will equal lime green
You can mix blue and yellow, with a tiny bit of black. First mix the blue and yellow to get the color of green you want, then mix in just a speck of black at a time till you get the green as dark as you want it.
Green is a product of mixing blue and yellow, so depending on how strong the green is, it will make a variation of both like Turquoise. Mixing the light colours green and blue will create a light blue referred to as Cyan.
