Red is a primary color.
Green is a secondary colour resultant of mixing equal parts of the primary colours, Yellow and Blue.
When you mix all three of the primary colours together you get some form of brown or in some cases grey.
I've read that if you mix 10 colors together you get OD Green. It originally came from mixing leftover paint and tints which produced OD Green.
If you mix the colors red and green you'll get the color brown.
