downgrading downgrading
== First you need to install firmware onto your MicroSD Card. If you have the official R4DS, this comes in a CD. If not, you will need to go to the manufacturer's website to download their custom firmware. Usually you just copy a "_DS_MENU.dat" file and a folder to the root of your MicroSD Card.
No, you have to downgrade first.
first does your PSP already have custom firmware? If it does I have no Idea what is wrong but if it doesn't then you need a Pandora battery and a Magic Memory Stick
You need two PS3s. the first one needs to me on the current frimware, the second one needs to be on custom firmware. You can only jailbreak ps3s on 3.55 and 3.41 (Jailbreak=custom firmware). There is no other way without a major risk of completely ruining your currrent ps3
All the video's you've been seeing on youtube with shiny gold on psp, or the forums you've been reading about people with Pokemon shiny gold on psp are all about people who have custom firmware on their psp's. You see there are two firmwares. The official firmwares created by sony, and custom firmware's created by hackers such as Dark Alex. There are many ways to go about getting custom firmware, which is essential if you want to be able to play emulators and roms such as shiny gold on your psp. First check around and see if there are any downgraders for you psp's current official firmware (I'm assuming you're on official firmware) If your psp is too high a version and their is no exploit or downgrader for your current version then you'll want to invest in a Pandora's battery and memory stick. These two tools have the capability to downgrade any psp firmware to 1.5 so that you may then upgrade to custom firmware. So to you or anyone looking to inquire about custom firmware just remember search engines are your friend and you're going to have to do a small amount of research to fully understand just what custom firmware is and how to obtain it. I wish you the best of luck.
I believe that you have an official firmware. Most probably, applications wont work at all in an official firmware. But it's nothing to panic. You'll first have to downgrade your PSP from the present level to the below level (eg:- Downgrading from 3.52 to 2.0). After you install a custom firmware you can open up applications and even update hacked softwares. It's a long story how to downgrade but if you want proper and safe instructions, e-mail to me at hhidden@rocketmail.com. By the way my true name is Samitha Gurusinghe. This would be quite difficult for you pronounce so just call me Smith G. hhidden@rocketmail.com
you must first downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to custom firmware (m33) then you can run homebrew games in the GAME150 folder and other hombrew items there also.
First and foremost, the answer depends on what model of PSP you have. Hacking tools include a 'magic memory stick' with the custom firmware installer, and a service mode battery (both items together are known as Pandora's battery) which puts the PSP into service mode and allows the firmware to be overwritten.
Well it's possible, but first you'll need an old copy of grand theft auto:liberty city stories. From this select the firmware upgrade to 1.5, which isn't an upgrade at all. The psp will then downgrade to 1.5 from the 3.30. From there you can install the custom firmware which you desire.
== Well im a pro and if you buy the slims new like at bestbuy they come with firmware 3.60. I bought both of my slims at gamestop last month march 2008. My first was firmware 3.30 and my second was 3.50. They sell them refurbished like new.
You must first install custom firmware on your PSP. If you already have, you may want to use Google to search to see if anyone else has gotten the same error as you.
The 1st gen ipod touch only comes with the accelerometer, not the app store, you will have to upgrade the firmware to 2.1, for around $9.90.
