Save keeps a copy of your file on a storage area that you choose, so that it is not lost when you close it or if the application closes before you are finished working on it.
Use alt-F4 to immediately close out of an application, or use Ctrl-Alt-Delete and open the Task Manager. This doesn't work on a Mac. For Macs, use command-Q.
The application will close immediately. As your file has been saved and is up to date, there is no need for the application to ask if you want to save it. This would happen if the file had not been saved.
[Ctrl]+[Q] (Quit) On a Windows operating system [Alt] [F4] will close the active window.
Kill command let's you close all apps that are running on the background these apps use up a lot of battery life and use up ram, killing them would mean to close them so that when the application is opened again, it will need to restart Hope this helps😄 Rishay

You have a Close button on a document and one on the application. The Close button on a document closes a document and will ask for the file to be saved if it has not been saved already. It will not close the application. The Close button on an application will close the application and ask for all files that are not saved to be saved. So there is very little difference between the two Close buttons.
