it appears Northeast Savings was acquired by Shawmut, which was then acquired by Fleet, both transactions occurring in 1995. Fleet was acquired by Bank of America in 2003. I found a mortgage satisfaction at http://public.clerk.co.escambia.fl.us/xml_or_1b.asp?uinstr=1997385622 listing all of these as grantors, and the document describes them Fleet as a successor by merger (through the other entities) to Northeast Savings.

On September 25, 2008, the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) seized Washington Mutual Bank from Washington Mutual and placed it into the receivership of FDIC. This action was taken because withdrawal requests worth $16.4 billion were placed during a 10 day bank run (nearly 9% of their total deposits) This resulted in the bank being closed and sold to JP Morgan Chase which reopened the branches next day as JP Morgan Chase branches.

Carriers (merged with Swift in 2000)Central Refrigerated (bought out by Swift in 2013 from Swift founder and former CEO Jerry Moyes)Central Freight is a separate company from Swift, and is privately owned by Jerry Moyes, the founder and former CEO of Swift Transportation. He acquired it in 1997. Central Refrigerated was the company formerly known as Dick Simon trucking, and that was acquired primarily by Moyes circa 2001 (this is the company best known for its driver who drove his truck up the steps of the California state capitol). It was bought out and integrated into Swift in 2013.Blue Thunder was related to either Moyes or Swift, although I'm not entirely certain. The company was formed in 2005 for the sole purpose of buying out Swift's autohaul division. They filed for bankruptcy in 2007.Update:In August of 2013, Swift formally bought out Central Refrigerated.
