In order to bring down big game you will need a high end air rifle. These rifles are in the PCP (PreCharged Pneumatic) class of air rifles. Most air rifles are made in the .177 caliber, too small for large game hunting. But PCP air rifles are made in all size caliber's. You will find them in .177, .20, .22, .25, 9mm, 357 cal, 45 Cal and 50 Caliber. The last 2 sizes are capable of bring down large game. These rifles can be expensive and require a special pump or Scuba tank to charge them to 2000 to 3000 PSI. You will get around 30 to 40 shots per charge. See the link below for various different model PCP air rifles.
Only when you need aiming. Which is mostly never. Roe deer hunting in Scandinavia or Turkey hunting in the US might be examples of exceptions.
Did you get an answer to this? I need to know as well. Thansk! Stef
Hunting deer is safer. The only thing you need to know about that , BE SAFE!!!!!
No.
If a rifle is permitted for hunting, semi autos can be used in MOST states. Pennsylvania does not permit them for big game hunting. You would need to check the hunting regulations for YOUR state.
You need to list the State you are asking about.
it matters what state ur in
it depends on what area of the country your hunting in if you need binoculars. you'll need a rifle, orange, and a license. That's the basics
A 223 would be fine for a deer rifle but you need to make sure the (youth) person can hit the kill zone. I would suggest the 243.
The best deer hunting gun you can use Ceaser Garuni. That gun is all good and all but it is too expencive and so if you want a great gun and you don't want to waste money you need a Browning BPS Deer Hunter. deer hunting is boring go for birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hunters will kill a deer with a bow purely out of preference and for a need for a challenge. Hunting with a bow is of a greater challenge than hunting with a gun, due to the higher potential for inaccuracies and the need to have to get closer to the prey than what is needed with a rifle. Poachers often choose the gun because it's fast, more efficient and easier to hunt animals with, even though a bow is much quieter overall.
Before you go deer hunting, the first thing you need to know is safety. You also need to learn to sit quietly and to pay attention. Always be aware of your surroundings and others.
