The depression in 1929 made people go more to the left or right so NSDAP gained some voters. Also, Franz von Papens party convinced Hindenburg, the president, to make Hitler the chancellor only if Hitler would accept to follow some rules. Hitler accepted it and that's how he gained power, then he broke certain rules and became a dictator.
Hitler made promises of things the Germans wanted and needed to hear.
Hitler was made Reichskanzler (Reich's Chancellor) 30 Jan 1933 by then Reichspresident HindeburgJanuary 30th 1933

Hitler's oratory skills helped the Nazis to gain power in Germany.
he lied and made people think he was doing the right thing
Presumably, most of them would have tried to get out of Germany before Hitler came to power. (They were in no position to prevent him coming to power).
Oh yes he was. He made himself a dictator after having siezed power in 1933. ---

in 1933, he was made the dictator of Germany where he quickly transformed their government style to totalitarianism and he committed suicide in 1945. what a shame, HEIL HITLER
No Hitler was not voted into leadership. He came to power when President Paul van Hindenburg died. Then Hitler was telling Germany that he was going to help them and so then they made him president. Unfortunately he turned on them.
No question of it. The world-wide depression caused by the Market Crash of 1929 hit Europe especially hard. Hitler's oratorical skills enabled him to promote his ideas, one of which was to get the "bad guy" responsible for the depressed economic conditions in Germany, the "bad guy" being a term of Hitler's own invention: "International Jewry". That's not the only reason Hitler came to power so easily, but thriving economic conditions would have made Hitler's plans much, much more difficult, if not impossible, to carry out.
People in Germany and some in Italy were starving, homeless, jobless and wanted a government who promised them changes and made the improvements. The depression made matters worse. This created an environment in which the Germans were fooled by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. Mussolini was already in power. Spain went to Fascism prior to the Great Depression.
