The regular universal green coolant.
use half coolant and half water
General Motors changed to Dexcool Extended Life coolant in 1996. It is the orange colored coolant. Green coolant will not hurt the system, it must be replaced about 5 times as frequently though. Beware that once you use green coolant in your cooling system, it is very dificult to remove completely if you want to use the extended life coolant in the future.
A 1996 Pontiac Sunfire uses Dexcool coolant. This should only be mixed with distilled water, never tap water. Replace the coolant every 2 years or as needed.
Rodeos use diethylene glycol but your best bet is to use the new extended life all makes all models coolant available at all parts stores.
6.6 quarts
The regular type called(ethylene-gylcol based) or just use the factory coolant call Toyota long life).........
It is spec for a Toyota and is the only coolant you should use
it will if you use a welder
Water should be fine, but mix it with coolant when you can to prevent rust from developing in the radiator.
There is no need to use straight coolant in your engine in the winter. You can buy coolant premixed in any auto supply store. Unless you live in an area that is colder than average or stays below zero, that's what you should use.
It should use ethylene glycol coolant. If for some reason you cant find that in the store then use a universal coolant.
