I don't believe so. I got one shot of the depo and bled for 9 weeks straight. The whole time I bled it was brown not a red color. It wasn't a constant bleed around the same time everyday only lasting for about 4 hours. If you have any questions about it I may beable to help. quiet_one212@Yahoo.com
brown discharge is not a sign that the shot is wearing off I've been on depo since i was 16 I'm now 24 years old and i don't get my period but usually at the ending of 3 months when i am due for my shot i usually will get spotting and usually have brown spotting along with it as well its just a sign that some times your period is trying to come back but usually if you get you next shot it goes away
It just means your spotting. It's still your period. Your doctor should tell you that you may have spotting for up to a month.
Brown or red spotting or bleeding is a common side effect of Depo Provera. The color of the bleeding does not mean anything.
yes
Bleeding on Depo Provera is not a sign that it's not effective.
If you are on the Depo shot then when it is time to go back and get your shot they will tell you and you won't be able to get your shot.
Unscheduled bleeding or spotting is a common side effect of depo provera. It improves with time.
You can get a Depo Provera shot whether or not you're having vaginal bleeding. There is no medical reason to prefer one time over another.
You are protected while on Depo Provera regardless of bleeding. As long as you get the shots on time, there's no decrease in protection just because you're having vaginal bleeding.
you can not stop your period it depends on your body and how it interact with the depo
Depo often causes spotting and bleeding in the first few treatments. This is nothing to worry about unless your bleeding becomes heavy. See your doctor immediately if that happens.
First, bleeding you have when on Depo Provera is not really a period. The hormones change the quantity and color of the uterine lining that sheds. This color change is of no medical concern or significance, and is common with hormonal birth control.
yes it's called anal sex it truly stops the bleeding try it out LOOOOL
I hate bleeding for 6 weeks on my first shot but my second one only had light spotting to none, it varies. Periods while on the depo provera, (whether u have them or not) has nothing to do with you being pregnant.
Was this your first shot? People react differently to the shot. I didn't bleed at all while I was on it and my co worker was on it and bled everyday for 3 months. By the time she got her next shot her body was used to it.
