This will depend upon exactly where on the stomach the lump is. If it is right on the midline just behind the end of the rib cage, it could be an abscess or hernia from a spay surgery or from the umbilical cord. If your female wasn't spayed, or was spayed after her first heat cycle, and the lump is between or around her nipples, it could be mammary cancer. If the lump is scattered somewhere else, it could be anything from an old scar to an infected spot to cancer.
If you are worried about it, I would suggest having your veterinarian take a look at it during your next vaccine visit. In the meantime, keep an eye on it to see if it changes in shape, location or firmness - if it does, go to the veterinarian as soon as possible.
I just felt a Lump inbetween my Chihuahua spine & neck. Is this normal?
well just ask your boyfriend if he still has his tiny balls!!!!!!
babby
NO! like really
A bolus is a lump of food
idk i am worried cause my cat has the same thing... i hope its not cancer... :( Edit: That really depends on what you mean by "lump." Is it inside or outside? When you say "near his stomach" do you mean his ribcage? What you should do is take him to the vet for a check-up. He could have a stomach tumor, it could be that you're just feeling his bowels (which was what it turned out to be with my cat), he could have worms (you would see it in his stool if he had worms), or maybe a hairball (it happens, right?). It could also just be a pimple or a knot. You can't be sure until you have him checked out.
Mention this to your doctor when you next see him or her. It could just be the baby's foot or hand if it is not there all the time
go to the doctor
I'm sorry to hear your chihuahua is in pain. he could have just bumped into something and got some swelling or inflammation. but it also could be something more serious like a tumor. but hold on. calm down it might not be a tumor. before you panic have a vet take a look at him and I'm sure he will be fine.
I believe so. If you need food, so does a baby, and in the womb, that disgusting lump on your stomach does need it too. When you eat, some of it goes to that lump, and if you don't eat, you get so hungry and your stomach must growl louder than ever. plz send a vid of a pregnant stomach growling on youtube for me. -IQ
