After the Jeep is warmed up, if the creaking noise is noticable during turns at low speeds, then its probably the rear differential. Go to the dealer and have it serviced. All they do is replace the fluid and seal but they use a special lubricant additive.
Check the oil level in the rear differential, drive shafts could also be bad.
He tried to sneak quietly through the house, but the creaking floorboards gave him away.
Could be the pump or maybe need fluid
its your rear swaybar links had the same problem with my 96 sl2 changed them and that fixed the problem no more creaking
It could be differential bearings.
It could be either a wheel bearing going bad or the front differential could be low of fluid. I would check the fluid first if it is low it could prove to be expensive if the ring and pinon gear gets burnt up or even the bearings. The plug should be in the driver side of the differential case.
Check your power steering fluid. Could also be a power steearing pump going bad
Need to check left front wheel bearing, and CV joint in the axel. It could be the brake pad senor scraping the rotor.
Probably damaged or worn clutches in the transmission. If it's making strange noises when you try to go, it could also be the differential.
STRUTS
There are a couple of reasons why a Jeep Wrangler may be sputtering. There could be a problem with the sensors or a problem with the fuel lines.
it sounds like a humming or whinning noise, what year is the truck if its from like 01 or up those trucks have a lot of wheel bearinig problems that some one might misdiagnose as a differential noise or it could be chopped tires making the noise.
