check and make sure that the hose clamps are tight mine was leaking at the bottom of the hose replaced heater core for nothing
A blocked heater hose could cause a leak. A stopped up heater core could as well. Or the connector in the Windstar could be cracked.
heater core could be rusty and old or line to heater core could be plogged most likely old heater core
That or the thermostat.
Blocked heater core, faulty heater valve, disconnected connection to the heater valve.
It could be steam from the heater core
a bad water pump could cause low heat. The heater uses the coolant from the pump to generate heat.
its the vent door. next time try hitting the switch for recycle/fresh air off and on. that may help.
A possible cause could be that you have a clogged heater core.

it could be a few things, but id check the thermostat as its probly stuck open, or your heater core could be bad but that will cause a water leak in your car and its a pain to change. or you can check your heater hoses for sludge.. because 50/50 anti freeze tends to cause that
It could be a partially blocked heater core or AC evaporator, or it could be a lot of buildup on the fan. Check if there is a filter after the fan, under the dash or behind glove box, It is clogged, shake it out, and or wash it.
