The problem could be a hormone imbalance. If she is a young girl just starting her period the hormones take time to settle into a cycle and things like this can happen ( it happens in menopause as well), so she might well miss a month or two. Take her to the doctor to be sure.
It is called Amenorrhea.
It is known as Amenorrhea.
The absence of painful menstrual flow is just normal menstruation - menstrual cramps are common but not a normal part of healthy menstruation at all. If you're missing your period all together then there can be a number of reasons, if you go more than 3 months without a period see your doctor.
amenorrhea
No. Your period is a result of the hormones in your body. Food does not stop it. Newer birth control pills will delay a period for 3 months, but you still have one every 3 months. The hormones that your body produces are needed and when you get older they get less. This is called menopause.
Sometimes, it's 3-5 days or longer...
i am 44 years old and always had a regular 28 day cycle, it as now for the past 3 months changed to 26 days, is this normal? it is not heavy or painful
your menstrual period stopped 3 mths. after ultrasound scan found 3cm ovarian cyst. Gynaecologist pescribed hormone pills.can it work
It sure will. Your fertilization period begins 2-3 days after you menstrual period leaves.
It would be good if you knew the exact first day of your last menstrual period. From that, add 7 days, then go back 3 months. That is your due date. For example, if the first day of your last period was June15th, add 7 days to that, so June 22nd. Then go back 3 months. That would be March22nd. That is your due date. That is usually confirmed by ultrasound.
No, you could get your second period 6 months after your first one.
Maybe like 3 months old. They start it all the time and its not called a period, its called 'in heat'. A female dog can start their in heat at any time.
It's dangerous for a number of reasons: 1. Menstrual flow contains mucus, tissue, blood, and even germs. 2. Women have been known to get pregnant at ALL times of the month. 3. You can get sexually transmitted diseases with or without the menstrual period. 4. Menstrual periods are very messy, and who wants menstrual blood all over the place? 5. The menstrual period lasts 5 to 7 days, and taking a week off from sex WON'T kill anybody!
Yes, it is possible. There are other things could cause your period to stop such as pregnancy (if you've had exposure) or a significant weight loss.
