The intake manifold is leaking coolant into the lifter gallery.
There are 4 water jackets in the intake. one on every corner. Chevy's are none for this. It is a common problem. Need to replace INTAKE GASKET and change oil and filter. May need to change a few times until oil is clean and not milkey. Oil should be clear.

No they were two different models. Sorry but the above answer is wrong. Those hoods are the same and will interchange. The body design change took place in 1988

do the bolts on a 1990 pickup truck go in vertical or horizontal
