Check the simple things first. With your engine COLD, open the radiator cap and check to see if there's coolant filled all the way to the bottom of the neck. If you look inside and see the slots inside your radiator, then you need to add a 50/50 dilution of coolant (purge). If it's full, then your problem may just be the thermostat (widely available). If that part is okay, you might need a new water pump (overheating problems are so much fun to troubleshoot). Other causes are blocked radiator tines (from bugs and leaves and other road junk), your timing is too far advanced (your spark plugs will tell you for sure), or you may have far more serious problems (warped heads, blown head gasket (check for water or sludge on your oil dipstick). Good luck. Steven

Timing BELT , for the 3.0 liter V6 engine in a 1995 Infinity J30
need to set base idle and clean fuel injectors
A J30 has 210hp.
Is the timing belt on a j30 infinity run the alternator
Around 15 - 16mpg in the city to about 21 - 22mpg on the highway. Really depends on your driving style, as well.
The J30t has the touring alloys, a whale tail, and 4 wheel steering (Hicas system).
The J30 engine has a very high compression ratio. If you use lower octane gas, it will cause inefficient combustion in the cylinders. I've used 89 octane a couple of times. It worked okay, but I wouldn't do it very often. Too low an octane can cause tapping sounds in the engine. Long term use will cause engine damage. As far as a money saver, one has to realize that if you use lower octane the mpg will drop too, as the engine has lost efficiency.High octane requirements is a common thing with Nissans.AnswerNo, you must use 91 octane or higher in the J30, it pretty much shares the same engine as the legendary Z cars. If you were to look at a picture of a Nissan Z tt (twin turbo) from '93-'96 you will see that the J30's engine looks almost exactly alike. Which means with a little fabrication you could also hook up twin turbos to the J30, others have done it. But anyway that's why you need premium gas in your car.
Yes you should be able to.
