Probably a blown ignition switch. You know the one you put the key in. Also, is it a diesel or a gas. I do not know much about gas trucks and engines but it might no be getting spark when it is hot that means it needs some new ignition parts,(like coil packs). I think it might be a short in the ignition. ALSO, The alternator could be bad and your running out of battery juice from running the radio and what not when the car is running. This will cause it to not have any power to get spark from and stall the motor, ( I Think from my own expirience). To test the the alternator, have the car running and take off the positive or negative terminal, if it stalls it needs a new alternator.
