drive shaft could be out of balance or tires could be out of round
it will drive but when in reverse it wont move
park,reverse,neutral,drive,low2,and low1
Park , Reverse , Neutral , Drive , Low
This question is too vague to be answered. It should be restated with a more detailed description. Where is the vibration felt? Is the car in gear or in nuetral? Is the car moving or still? Be specific and give all the details. I also encounter the same problem with our dodge caravan. There is too much vibration when the Drive is engaged and the car is not moving. The vibration is normal when the van is in Park or Neutral.
Park, reverse, neutral, Drive and low
The transmission is messed up, try playing between neutral/reverse and drive, my old Hyundai excel did that and the transmission did a weird sound then went back OK, but not for long. Recommended to change it.
Yes it does count as a gear because there is park, reverse, neutral -the one we are talking about-,and drive. P.R.N.D. GEARS.
Immediately passed the Park position. Neutral separates the Reverse gear and the Drive gears.
* cause it needs to be put in drive to go forward
It will probably start out as a rotating squeak then when it gets worse you will hear a loud clink going from drive to reverse or reverse to drive. In it's final stages you will feel a vibration also.
