Hi, With any solid axle if the oil level is at all low it starves the left side first because all highways taper to the right for drainage so its like the right side is lower than the left and gravity takes care of the rest, of course if your car has 200K on it look for it to happen any time, if your car has independent rear suspension the side with the weakest dust seal goes first. .
Yes, a rotten ball bearing can cause a wheel to seize up very quickly
No, it would cause the engine to run poorly but not to seize. Lack of lubrication or overheating will cause that. Also a broken part, as in a rod, will cause it to seize.
It could be bearing starting to seize on the alternator and reducing the belt speed to the power steering pump.
Nothing unless the wheel bearings are defective. In that case the bearings will eventually seize or actually catch the grease on fire. The axle may break and cause you to wreck the vehicle. Failure to replace a defective wheel bearing may cause a very serious accident and possibly death. Replace a defective wheel bearing immediately.
It could seize up next time you drive it. Don't take chances, replace faulty wheel bearings immediately.
Eventually the beraring can seize and lock the wheel. Also driving it will cause more damage and cost more to repair
A faulty bearing wil initially squeak or squeal. Eventually it will shriek, and then it will seize up. Better to have it checked out now, before you are stranded.
Yes. A damage wheel bearing can seize up suddenly, which'd be really bad.
Loose or worn fan belt would cause alternator not to spin fast enough to charge battery. Worn bearing in alternator could be causing it to seize and causing belt to slip
A dead battery would not cause an engine to seize
John Brown in Harpers Ferry tried to seize a federal armory on behalf of his cause.
Tire fall off, not likely. It just may seize the spindle and lock it up (and cause you to not be able to steer, or move the vehicle).
